FreezPen
A quick, non-invasive treatment to remove benign, unwanted Skin LESIONs.
What is the FreezPen?
FreezPen is a cryotherapy device used to treat various benign skin lesions, such as skin tags, sun spots and angiomas by freezing them off with Nitrous Oxide.
How It Works
FreezPen is a non-invasive treatment that removes benign skin lesions. The FreezPen emits high-pressure Nitrous Oxide gas (-89 °C) rapidly and precisely, freezing the affected area without damaging surrounding healthy tissue.
Water in the lesion cells freeze and expand, rupturing the cell membrane. As a result, it destroys the lesion, and gradually falls from the surface of the skin until its completely healed.

Results, Longevity & Maintenance
Depending on the size and type, some skin lesions may require more than 1 session.
Follow up with your Plumpitupp practitioner 4 weeks after your treatment to determine if a second session is necessary.
Prep & Appointment Expectations
Your Plumpitupp practitioner will begin the procedure by disinfecting the treatment area. The FreezPen delivers a fine, high precision jet of Nitrous Oxide to freeze the lesion(s). You’ll likely feel a cold, stinging sensation during the freezing, which only lasts a few seconds. Each lesion takes approximately 5-30 seconds, depending on the size and depth.
Afterwards, you may feel tingly, numb or slightly sore. You may also notice mild redness or swelling around the treated area. Your Plumpitupp practitioner will apply a healing ointment to the treated area(s) and you’re done!
The entire treatment process is approximately 15 minutes.
Aftercare
A blister may form within the next 24-48 hours, this is completely normal and a part of the healing process.
Keep it clean and dry. Gently cleanse the area with warm water and anti-bacterial soap daily.
No picking or scratching, this can lead to infection or scarring.
Avoid harsh products (alcohols, actives, exfoliants, etc.)
Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF twice daily.
Moisturize when the area is no longer blistered or scabbed.
Pain, Healing & Downtime
There’s no downtime involved with with treatment, you can return to your daily activities immediately after treatment!
